Tech Taskforce highlights Smart + Green opportunities in key sectors

The Green Alliance Tech Taskforce has published its final report on the benefits of joining up digital and environmental priorities. Accelar’s Managing Director Chris Fry was involved in the taskforce and he share's some insights below.

“It is fantastic to see the launch of this final report of the Tech Taskforce. It sets out the gains that could be made across high impact sectors:  Transport, Energy, Buildings and Food through a smart, green approach.

It is two years since the taskforce set about its work. Much may have changed in that time but the power of the "smart + green" equation is more pertinent than ever. i.e. assisting recovery from COVID19, achieving net zero carbon across the economy & delivering the industrial strategy.

It was fascinating to be part of the cross sector taskforce during its first two investigations. Congratulations for drawing together an insightful final report Caterina Brandmayr & colleagues at the Green Alliance and task force members Ramboll, GAMBICA, Innovate UK and Schneider Electric.”
